About

Dainty Robot was dreamed up in 2010 as a side-hobby of West Cork artist, Sarah Gabriel. At this time Sarah was studying American Literature and Film in University College Cork but was feeling unfulfilled. Dainty Robot was a means of keeping in touch with her artistic interests during this period and was what ultimately encouraged her to study art full-time.

Today, Sarah is a recent graduate of Crawford College of Art and Design, where she studied applied art with a particular interest in all things textiles. Now, armed with nearly a decade’s experience in soft sculpture, and robust artistic knowledge, Sarah is re-launching Dainty Robot as a shop dedicated to making beautiful, highly-detailed quality sculptures, accessories, and décor for any budget.
